The Special Adviser to Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo on Community Security, Chief Ken Emeakayi, has declared that no Agunechemba operative of the Operation Udo Ga Chi Security Service is above the law.
Emeakayi who made the statement in an interview in his office at the old Government House Awka, stated in very strong terms that there are no sacred cows and no sentimental or emotional attachments in their operations judging from the law establishing the security outfit.
Emeakayi who is overseeing the Agunechemba Operation Udo Ga Chi Security Service on behalf of the governor, said they arrest their operatives who contravened the law, stressing that there are no nepotism in their service delivery.
He said one of the Agunechemba operatives accosted a lady on an errand in Isuaniocha area of Awka-North Local Government and began to harass her for not wearing bra and in the end forcefully collected N70,000 from her.

He said they got the information and he sent for the officer who is now in hand-cuffs for the crime he committed because the victim identified him when the family members came to his office to complain about the incident involving their daughter and the Agunechemba security operative.
The governor’s aide also recalled how the Onitsha-South Local Government Mayor deployed Agunechemba operatives on a revenue drive contrary to the rules and regulations of the security outfit. He noted that the said revenue collection resulted in fracas with Keke drivers in Onitsha. He said he got the information and dispatched men from Awka who went to Onitsha-South and arrested the operatives; disarmed them; confiscated their vehicles and equipment and brought them to Awka.
According to him, the operational vehicle of the Agunechemba Operation Udo Ga Chi attached to Onitsha-South Local Government was confiscated for over one month and the operatives made to do an undertaking that they have made peace with Keke operators in the area.
Again, he recalled another ugly episode where it was alleged that Operation Udo Ga Chi people kidnapped someone and whisked him to an unknown destination. This he said was a blatant lie because he got to the root of the matter and discovered that there was no kidnap case involving Agunechemba operatives.
