Ralph Nwosu, the current National Chairman of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) has revealed that coalition of political like minds in the country is gaining momentum and has even started in some states. He hinted that talks about bringing David Mark into the party’s leadership have been ongoing for a year and a half.
Nwosu also confirmed that opposition figures from various political backgrounds have already started working with the ADC.

He said,”in Anambra, for example, the party’s governorship candidate is from the Labour Party, while the running mate comes from the PDP this, he said, reflects the spirit of unity within the coalition.
He assured that all pending arrangements, including leadership changes and formal membership announcements, would be concluded soon.
A public declaration is expected within the week to unveil the new direction the party is taking.
According to Nwosu, the ADC is now positioning itself to lead a united political front capable of delivering real progress for Nigerians.
He stressed that the aim is to rebuild the country’s democratic values and offer a clear alternative in 2027.
“In various ways, most of them have already been integrated. For example, in Anambra State, the person flying the ADC ticket is a chieftain of the Labour Party, and the running mate is a member of the PDP. So, these are LP and PDP leaders contesting under the ADC platform you can see it’s already working.”
“Within the next week (this week), everything will be concluded, and they will be officially received. Everything will be wrapped up within this new week so that the party’s journey towards a new Nigeria can begin,” he said.
