JUST IN: Police Release Journalist Tim Elombah After Interrogation

Popular journalist, Tim Elombah, arrested in Awka

Police authorities in Anambra State have finally released journalist Tim Elombah who was arrested earlier today by the Force Intelligence Unit after interrogation.

Mr. Tim, who works for Diaspora Digital Media (DDM), an online Television Network owned by Nigerians in diaspora, was taken into custody at his Awka residence.

Tim was arrested following a petition reportedly lodged against him by an Estate developer.

Though, the actual content of the petition at the time of filing this report, has not been made public by the authorities.
