President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has honored Anambra-born Samuel Chukwudi Ezeanolue with the prestigious President’s NYSC Honors Award. He was among the 200 Ex-Corp members honoured recently in Abuja for their exceptional contributions during their service year.

Ezeanolue, a corps member who served in Kogi State, was recognized for his outstanding contributions to his host community, Oboroke-Ihima.

During his service year in 2020, Ezeanolue successfully executed over 15 different Personal Community Development Service (CDS) projects, including donating bookshelves, tables, and chairs to Joyous Academy Secondary School, conducting seminars on HIV/AIDS sensitization, and establishing digital press clubs and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) clubs in secondary schools.

According to Ezeanolue, these efforts earned him recognition from government officials, traditional rulers, and private individuals.

He was equally awarded a prestigious award for meritorious service and conferred with honorary citizenship of Okehi Local Government Area. He was also named the Overall Best Corps Member in Kogi for 2021 Service Year.
