Wife of the Governor of Anambra State, Nonye Soludo, has extended invitation to ndi Anambra to join her at the new Government House, Light House, for a corn dinner with the first Family

This is as she showcased some fresh corns harvested from her farm within the government house promises.

The Governor’s wife announced the open invitation in a video currently trending on social media, showing her harvesting some visibly-attractive corn from her garden, and eating the prepared corn with fresh and illecebrous pear at the Government House.

Speaking during the harvest, which was guarded by security operatives, Mrs. Soludo, who is also the Founder of Healthy Living with Nonye Soludo, expressed satisfaction with the freshness and the ampleness of the the corn, describing it as purely organic, other than GMO corns.

“We came to harvest corn. So, whoever wants to eat corn should come this evening to the Light House. This is organic, not GMO corns. I have desire for corn this evening, and so, I decided to come to my farm and harvest some. Pears are ready, waiting.

“So, I’m telling everybody: This is the way to go. Have corn farm, so that when you have desire for it, you’ll harvest some and eat,” she said (in Igbo language).

Also speaking while eating the prepared corn with pear at the Government House, Mrs. Soludo described the combo as her favourite, while re-extending open invite to the public.

Taking to her social media page, the Anambra First Lady wrote: “I harvested some fresh corns from my garden, and there was no better way to end the day than walking in to have a taste of the result of your efforts. Like I always say, there’s always a deep joy; some kind of fulfilment and genuine feeling that come with harvesting from your own farm.
