Oba Youth Forum (OYF), in Idemili Local Government Area of Anambra State has raised alarm over the deteriorating health condition of one of their member, Akwa Akuko tiwalu aki,Chief Chidozie Nwangwu.

The president of the forum, Chief Onyebuike Okonkwo, who raised the alarm in a press statement circulated to human rights community and the media in Anambra State appealed to Governor Chukwuma Soludo to grant amnesty to Chief Nwangwu to allow him attend to his illness.

Akwa Akuko, a native doctor was arrested by the State vigilant group, Udogachi for his negative influence on the young people of the State along with others for creating impression that they can help them get rich quick through their charm preparation.

Consequently, they were charged to Anambra High State Court where he was granted stringent bail conditions. Since then he has remained in detention.

However, the president of Oba Youth said Chief Nwangwu has an ageing father who slipped into coma resulting in a stroke for non-release of his son, pleading with the Governor to set the native doctor free.
The youth leader appealed to the Governor to, in the spirit of the coming governorship election release Chief Nwangwu to allow him not only exercise his franchise but mobilise Oba and the entire Idemili youth for All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA).
He assured that if Akwa Okuko is granted amnesty, he would never violate his bail conditions.
