Synod: Two Brothers Donate 65M to Support Anglican Church in Anambra.

It was all joy at recently concluded Oraifite Synod of Nnewi Diocese when two brothers and illustrious sons of Oraifite Community in Anambra State made a whooping donation of N65 million naira to support the diocese.

The brothers are Sir Azuka Okwuosa, senatorial candidate of APC in the just concluded Anambra South Senatorial By-Election and Engr Emeka Okwuosa, Group Chief Executive Officer, Oilserv

The Okwuosa dynasty has been a strong Pillar of the Anglican Church in Nnewi and Nigeria as a whole.

Speaking at the Synod,Sir Azuka Okwuosa, appreciated the Anglican Communion for their prayers and supports.

According to him, the prayers of the church for Him and Okwuosa Dynasty are indeed overwhelming and he can only reciprocate that by giving more supports to humanity and services in the Lord’s Vineyard.

He further reassured the church that they will always support God’s works irrespective of the denomination involved and urged them to continue praying for constituted authorities.

An Anglican synod is a governing council within an Anglican diocese or at the national level, comprising three houses: Bishops, Clergy, and Laity. These synods serve as the highest decision-making body, discussing and deciding on matters of church administration, doctrine, worship, and public issues.

Apart from donating generously to the church, the Okwuosa family recently dedicated a church building in the community and donated a convent managed by Nnewi Anglican Diocese.
