New Shopping Mall Opens in Onitsha, Set to Replace Shoprite

The management of Zara Stores, one of the major shopping malls in Awka, Anambra State, opened a new Zara Mall in Onitsha, Anambra State, on Thursday.

 

The Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Zara Stores, Chief Akai Egwuonwu, who keyed into the “aku luo uno” or “think home” mantra of the Obiano administration, has continued to expand his businesses across different parts of Anambra State.

 

A reputable agro businessman with a major stake in rice farming and processing, who is more popularly known as the Anambra Rice brand, Chief Egwuonwu expanded into retailing about five years ago, and has now strengthened his stake in the retail business in Anambra State with his new mall located on Limca Road in Onitsha. During the commissioning of the new mall, which was attended by friends and associates as well as some customers who came in to have a feel of the new outlet, the management of Zara assured that the new mall will operate with the same value of quality products at affordable rates, which Zara Stores Awka is known for. In Awka, the Zara Stores located at Kwata Junction is one of the major malls in the city of Awka, providing both products and relaxation spots for games and cinema for Zara’s customers.
