The Chinua Achebe International Cargo Airport Umueri is gearing up to boost cargo transport services for the festive period, aiming to provide seamless transportation solutions for traders and businesses in Anambra State and beyond.
Speaking to newsmen at the airport, Managing Director Mr. Martins Nwafor revealed that the airport is working tirelessly to ensure efficient cargo handling, enabling traders to easily transport goods to and from any part of the world.
Mr Nwafor noted that despite being operational for just four years, the airport is competing favorably with older airports in the country.
He expressed gratitude to the Anambra State Government for its support, including the provision of necessary facilities and equipment.
He hinted that to further promote cargo services, the airport will host a seminar and international trade fair, to educate traders, businesses, and the public on cargo transport services and providing opportunities for flight operators and passengers to interact.
