The Anambra State Police Command has arrested a masquerade involved in unprovoked and violent attacks on innocent citizens, an incident that resulted in a serious breach of public peace in Awgbu, Orumba North Local Government Area of the state.

In a statement issued on Wednesday, the State Police Command Spokesman, SP Tochukwu Ikenga, disclosed that the Command wishes to inform members of the public, particularly Ndi Anambra and other concerned stakeholders, that the masquerade responsible for the disturbance has been taken into police custody.
