Interdenominational Service Held to Mark End Of Governor Soludo’ First Tenure

An interdenominational service to mark the end of the first tenure of Governor Chukwuma Soludo and his deputy Doctor Onyekachukwu Ibezim has been held at the International Convention Centre in Awka.

 

Speaking at the momentous occasion, Governor Soludo expressed his heartfelt thanks to God and the people of the state for their support, while recognizing the divine guidance that has allowed both he and his deputy, Dr. Onyekachukwu Ibezim, to successfully completing their first term in office.

 

He emphasized a renewed dedication to delivering more tangible development and enhancements that embody the very essence of democracy.

The Governor further underscored his unwavering determination to continue to collaborate with individuals from all walks of life, irrespective of their religious beliefs, ethnic backgrounds, or political affiliations.

 

Governor Soludo reaffirmed that his administration would steadfastly prioritize the values that each person brings to the table, fostering an inclusive environment where diverse perspectives are not only welcomed but are seen as essential to the progress and prosperity of the entire state.

 

Earlier In a sermon, the Anglican Bishop of Awka Diocese, the Most Reverend Alexander Ibezim and National President of Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria PFN, Bishop Francis Wale Oke who spoke on the theme ‘Leading with Wisdom and Integrity,’ urged citizens to actively engage and collaborate with their leaders in a spirit of unity and cooperation to drive the progress and development of the state.

 

They emphasized the importance of collective efforts in fostering a brighter future for all the residents of Anambra even as they called on government at all levels on the essence to lead with intergrity.
