The Apex sociocultural Youth organization of Igbo Race Worldwide Ohanaeze Youth Council(OYC) has declared that any Igbo person who fails to enroll in a permanent Voters Card (PVC) is an arch-enemy to Ndigbo and a saboteur to the economic development and political advancement of Ndigbo.
In a press statement issued to the pressmen on 19th April 2026, the national president of the General Ohanaeze Youth Council (OYC), Comrade Igboayaka O. Igboayaka, lamented the low turnout for continuous voter registration, especially in the Southeast Geopolitical Zone, considering that Ndigbo account for 42.8% of Nigeria’s total population, urging Ndigbo to convert their population across Nigeria into political capital.
It is imperative that Ndigbo, who are largely marginalized and oppressed, take proactive steps to register for a permanent Voters Card (PVC) at the nearest Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) office, thereby preparing themselves for a ballot revolution, a political storm, and a tsunami that will have far-reaching consequences for all political oppressors, profiteers, and saboteurs in Igboland, Comrade Igboayaka stated.
Comrade Igboayaka allegedly stated that those who have managed the political affairs of Ndigbo since 1999 are deemed ineffective, oppressive, and exploitative, looters prioritizing the interests of their families and associates over their responsibilities for the collective economic development of Alaigbo.
The repeated election of the same ineffective politicians, oppressors, and profiteers over the years has been unwise, and it is foolish to continue trusting those who have kept Alaigbo in a state of political bondage and servitude.
Comrade Igboayaka maintained that there will be a compulsory comprehensive retirement from politics that will be enforced on all corrupt politicians in the Southeast, excluding Ikenga Imo Ugochinyere Micheal Ideato North/South Federal Constituency and Hon Obi Aguocha Ikwuano/Umuahia Federal Constituency. All other political figures seeking re-election, including Gov Francis Nwifuru and Gov. Peter Mba have performed abysmally, the Senators, House of Representatives, and State House of Assembly members in the Southeast, should prepare to relinquish their positions to a new generation or face humiliation at polling units in 2027.
The Southeast will witness a fresh political dispensation, marked by the emergence of new breeds of politicians at various levels, including Governors, Senators, the Federal House of Representatives, and State House Assemblies, Comrade Igboayaka declared.
To achieve these necessary new political beginnings, Comrade Igboayaka O Igboayaka implore all parents and guardians to ensure that every adult from age 18 years quickly gets their PVC
Comrade Igboayaka, reassure the Masses that they need not worry about rigging, as a robust arrangement is in place to counter political Riggers and criminals. Any party or politicians contemplating rigging or altering election results should prepare their Will. The 2027 election will be coded as “EGWU SURUGEDE”, where offenders will face equal retribution, eye for eye, tooth for tooth.
