Spiritual Head, Soul Revival Outreach Nnewi, Anambra State, Prophet Ikechukwu Uzukwu has said that former Anambra state governor, Mr Peter Obi is currently politically helpless following his refusal to study political atmosphere of the country.
He said Obi’s best option would have been a return to the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) after the 2023 presidential election.
Speaking with journalists in his office, the cleric said he had advised him to go for Vice President two years ago but he turned down the advice.
He said, “Mr Peter Obi’s chance to rescue Nigeria especially in the 2027 presidential election is slim because has refused to study the political atmosphere of the country and as such he is helpless.
“Ordinarily, Mr Peter Obi should have invested in a political party he can call his own rather than aiming to profit from other people’s investments.
“Political activity can not be separated from large heartedness, and deep pocket, that’s the situation all over the world.
“Peter Obi is empty because he didn’t build anybody, I advised him to go for Vice President about two years ago, I don’t think anything has changed.
“If Peter Obi contest against Tinubu ten times, Peter Obi will win but Tinubu would be declared winner ten times, that’s the uncomfortable truth in the polity today, again Peter Obi is only helping Tinubu by migrating from one political party to another,” he stressed.
Fighting for Nigeria’s redemption
The Prophet further noted that it was high time all and sundry to come out and fight for the redemption of the soul of Nigeria.
According to him, things have become so deplorable in Nigeria that many people scavenge from refuse dumps to feed noting that the level of insecurity has become all time high, under the watch of President Bola Tinubu.
“Clergies should not be afraid to fight for future generations, things are bad today because we did not fight yesterday.
“Christians especially should begin to speak up, God didn’t ask us to pray, he asked us to take charge.
“Nigerians will have to fight physically to redeem the soul of Nigeria from the clutches of the few elements who doesn’t mean well for them.
“I am not saying that prayer is bad but the truth is that God will not come down from heaven to do for us what he has empowered us to do by ourselves.
“In-fact, I advocate jungle justice for election riggers, we cannot be doing things the same way and expect different results.
“Those who rigged election in 2023 have been compensated with Ambassadorial and other appointments, while teeming Nigerians have been reduced to walking corpse as a result of hunger and starvation.
“There is time for everything as prescribed in the Holy Bible, Jesus even said that at the appointed time, Christians should have swords in their scrips.
Our destiny in our hands
“Nigerians have been waiting for other countries to come to Nigeria and do for them, what they can easily do for themselves, as far as I am concerned, that is playing the ostrich.
“The number of people who have lost their lives due to the cluelessness and wicked administration of All Progressives Congress (APC) controlled government is unprecedented.
“In-fact the number of people who have died under the watch of President Tinubu are more than those who died in the Civil war of 1967-1970.” He asserted.
The Prophet declared categorically that the last three years of President Tinubu has been a disaster and as such should not be allowed to come back in 2027 noting that doing so would amount to reinforcing failure.
“The only people who are talking good of Tinubu are the City Boys and their cronies, the masses don’t want to hear anything about Tinubu again.
“The level of frustration in the nation is high and it will get to a point that anyone seeing putting on the APC cap or other insignia would be lynched.
“Tinubu told us in 2023 that he was going to take Nigeria back from Cabals, who held the nation captive.
“It is time for Nigerians to take Nigeria back from Tinubu. The killings in Nigeria is horrible. It is time to fight for freedom from Tinubu,” he asserted.
Anambra Prophet also appealed to the American President, Donald Trump, European Union and ECOWAS to ensure a free, fair credible and transparent election in the 2027 presidential polls or better still give Nigerians an interim government that will be responsible.
