It was an evening of conviviality as friends gathered to celebrate a fine detective, Mr. Yusuf Ishiaku, now retired, as he marked his 66th birthday. A former Anambra State Director of the Department of State Service – DSS, Yusuf, is reputed for his high level of professionalism and genuine commitment to humanity. The birthday celebration was held in Awka, the capital of Anambra State, as he (Yusuf) is in Anambra State on a private visit. Realizing that Friday is his birthday, Uzu Okagbue organized a few friends to celebrate this detective of excellent quality and immense good standing. Speaking on his character only a few days ago, the Bishop of Ekwulobia Diocese described Yusuf as a follower of Christ, pointing out that he was the first person to make a donation to the Ekwulobia Diocese when it was newly created.
