A former Anambra State Director of the Department of State Service – DSS, Yusuf, is reputed for his high level of professionalism and genuine commitment to humanity. The birthday celebration was held in Awka, the capital of Anambra State, as he (Yusuf) is in Anambra State on a private visit. Realizing that Friday is his birthday, Uzu Okagbue organized a few friends to celebrate this detective of excellent quality and immense good standing. Speaking on his character only a few days ago, the Bishop of Ekwulobia Diocese described Yusuf as a follower of Christ, pointing out that he was the first person to make a donation to the Ekwulobia Diocese when it was newly created.
Mr. Yusuf Ishiaku is committed to a wide range of good works. On his birthday, while friends gathered to celebrate him in Awka, he was also being celebrated in Abuja at the Victorine Motherless Babies Home, run by Sisters of Jesus the Redeemer. This reflects the general recognition of Mr. Yusuf’s immense impact, as well as his service to mankind and God.
Some of those who gathered to celebrate him in Awka include Chief Uzu Okagbue, CSP Ben Eke, Dr. Ebuka Onyekwelu, Chief Ifechukwu, social media personality Ebuka popularly known as OzoIgbondu, and many others.
In his remarks, Uzu Okagbue said that celebrating men like Yusuf remains one of the things that gives him joy because he believes that good men should be celebrated. He recalled how, during his time in Anambra State as State Director of DSS, Yusuf made an indelible impact, distinguishing himself as a fine professional and humanist. Reacting, Mr. Yusuf Ishiaku expressed his profound gratitude to friends and well-wishers who gathered to celebrate him. He especially appreciated Uzu Okagbue for being so thoughtful in organizing the event.
