Public administrator and businessman, Hon. Ndubisi Omile, has emerged as the candidate of the People’s Democratic Party – PDP, to represent Njikoka II State constituency in Anambra State House of Assembly. Mr. Omile, a former students’ leader at the University of Calabar, hails from Nimo, in Njikoka local government area of Anambra State, and is the son of a former PDP Woman Leader, Hon. Mrs. Mary Omile.
Hon. Ndubisi Omile, who was nominated as the candidate of the PDP for State House of Assembly in next year’s General Election, was unanimously nominated through consensus by the members and leaders of the PDP in Njikoka II State Constituency.
Reacting after his nomination, Mr. Omile thanked the PDP members and leaders for finding him worthy to be entrusted with the duty to serve the people of Njikoka Constituency II. Speaking on governance issues in Anambra and why he has offered himself to serve, Hon. Ndubisi Omile said it was a call from the people of the constituency to step up and serve, in light of the poor performance of the current representative. He, however, commended Anambra State Governor, Professor Charles Chukwuma Soludo, emphasizing that under him, “Anambra State has witnessed a remarkable transformation which can be attested to even by the blind,” Omile enthused. Notwithstanding, he maintained that regrettably, the serving member representing Njikoka II constituency in the Anambra State House of Assembly has been unable to follow Soludo’s blueprint for his constituency.
Hon. Ndubisi’s entry into the race for Njikoka Constituency II has been welcomed by many in the constituency, suggesting early signs that the election will be competitive.
