Bishop Emeka Nwankpa has declared before the court that he is not a fake pastor.
During his arraignment recently over allegations that he falsely presented himself as a pastor, the cleric pleaded not guilty to the charges brought against him.
His legal team subsequently applied for bail, urging the court to grant him freedom pending the determination of the case.
Reacting over the arraignment, supporters maintain that Bishop Nwankpa has been actively involved in Christian ministry for many years and has led a congregation with hundreds of worshippers.

Supporters of government hold a different view arguing that the arraignment could not have come at a better time and calling on other governors to follow suit .
Further proceedings on the matter are expected as the court considers the bail application and prepares for the substantive hearing of the case.
