Wife of Anambra State Governor, Dr Nonye Soludo has advised fathers to remain steadfast in nurturing children that would contribute positively to society.
Soludo made the call on Sunday in her message to Father’s Day to mark the Father’s Day said that their influence extends beyond their homes to the future of their communities.
She celebrated fathers for their love, sacrifice and guidance in shaping families and strengthening society.
She also commended fathers who continue to lead their families with purpose and dedication, despite prevailing challenges.
According to her, the impact of responsible fatherhood goes beyond the immediate family and plays a critical role in building a better society.
“To every father striving to lead with purpose and raise children who will make a positive difference in the world, thank you.
“Your impact reaches far beyond the walls of your home and extends into the future of our communities,” she said.
The governor’s wife also paid special tribute to her husband, Gov. Chukwuma Soludo, describing him as a devoted and exceptional father whose values, discipline and unwavering commitment continue to inspire their family.
She said she and their six children remained grateful for the love, wisdom, strength and exemplary leadership he provides daily.
“Today, I especially celebrate my dear husband, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, a devoted and exceptional father whose values, discipline and unwavering commitment continue to inspire our family.
“Together with our six amazing children, I am deeply grateful for the love, strength, wisdom and exemplary leadership he provides every day,” she said.
While wishing fathers across the country a happy celebration, Soludo encouraged them to continue serving as role models to their children and society at large.
