Wife of Anambra state governor Dr Nonye Soludo has expressed joy over remarkable progress and improvement in the health condition of the 10-year-old boy allegedly subjected to severe abuse by his guardians in Awada, Obosi, in Idemili North Local Government Area of the state.

 

Soludo who stated this during another visit to the victim attributed the steady recovery to the dedication of the medical team and the outpouring of love, support, and prayers from kind-hearted individuals.

She reassured continued close watch on the boy’s wellbeing to ensure he received the care and support he needed until he fully recovered and reunited with his family.

She said, “I paid another visit to young Chiziterem today to monitor his recovery and offer his family encouragement. I’m delighted to see that he is making remarkable progress and is much stronger than when I last visited.

 

“His steady recovery is a testament to the dedication of the medical team and the outpouring of love, support, and prayers from kind-hearted individuals.

 

“As promised, I will continue to keep a close watch on his wellbeing to ensure he receives the care and support he needs until he is fully recovered and reunited with his family.

 

“Every child deserves to be safe, protected, and given the opportunity to thrive. Let’s continue to speak up against child abuse and neglect wherever we see it.”
