Wife of Anambra State governor, Dr Mrs Nonye Soludo has advised youths in the state to embrace lifelong learning and not to relent in acquiring new skills.

According to her, the greatest investment a society can make is in the skills, creativity and potential of young people.

While reaffirming commitment to supporting initiatives that empower youths through education, skills acquisition, innovation and entrepreneurship, Soludo noted that investment in youth development remained essential to building stronger and more prosperous society.

She said, “As we celebrate World Youth Skills Day today, let us remind ourselves that the greatest investment we can make is in the skills, creativity, and potential of our young people.

“When youths are equipped with the right knowledge and practical abilities, they become job creators, problem solvers, innovators, and agents of positive change in their communities.

“As we continue to promote healthy living, quality education, innovation, entrepreneurship, and skills development, I encourage every young person to embrace lifelong learning and never stop acquiring new skills.

“Every skill mastered today is a step towards a more confident, productive, self-reliant, and prosperous tomorrow.

“To our young people across Anambra State and beyond, keep learning, keep creating, and keep believing in yourselves. Your talents are your greatest assets, and the future belongs to those who prepare for it.”
