In this first series of “When Education meets Vision, we will take a look at the digitalisation that is going on in Nnamdi Azikiwe University.

When he was sworn in as the 7th substantive Vice Chancellor of the University, Anyaehie said, my transformation blueprint will be driven by “strategic priorities including academic excellence, research and innovation, student welfare, human capital development, infrastructure expansion, digitalisation and global partnerships.

“I am committed to rebranding this university, widening the scope of skills development and enthroning a culture of transparency,” Today, this statement and his opening remarks are becoming a clear reality in the University.

Today in Nnamdi Azikiwe University, the current Vice Chancellor administration is championing a technology-driven future where processes are smarter, systems are integrated, and students experience a seamless, data-enabled learning environment.

In Nnamdi Azikiwe University today, digitization is no longer optional but essential for university. Today, Nnamdi Azikiwe University is becoming much more relevant in a world defined by artificial intelligence, automation, and rapid innovation. The Institution has never had it so good.

Prof. Bond Anyaehie has been proactive and passionate about the welfare of both staff and students, which observers have described as a demonstration of what a determined leadership can achieve. The Vice -Chancellor’s approach, driven by passion, innovation, courage, and deliberate reform, has rekindled institutional confidence and redirected Nnamdi Azikiwe University towards the global relevance it is enjoying today.

Today, the Registry Department of the University, the Digital Library and University Library hav taken a new shape. The digitalisation that was done in those places speaks volumes of Prof. Bond Anyaehie vision and mission for the institution.

Staff, visitors and stakeholders across the University community have expressed optimism, noting that the Vice-Chancellor’s commitment signals a future where Nnamdi Azikiwe University operates as a fully modernized institution leveraging technology to unlock greater academic and administrative values.

As Nnamdi Azikiwe University enjoys this new era under Prof Bond Anyaehie leadership, expectations are high for this digital transformation going on in the institution will position the University as a leading hub of innovation, excellence. and global readiness.
