Graceland International Hospital Opens in Awka

The Anambra State Government has welcomed the establishment of Graceland International Hospital, Awka, describing the new healthcare facility as a significant addition to the state’s healthcare infrastructure and a further indication of growing private-sector confidence in Anambra State.

 

The Deputy Governor, Dr. OnyekaChukwu Ibezim, who represented the Governor, Prof. Chukwuma Charles Soludo, CFR, at the commissioning ceremony, said the investment would contribute meaningfully to improving access to quality healthcare for Ndi Anambra and beyond.

 

Dr. Ibezim commended the proprietor of the hospital, Dr. Chukwuemeka Ofojebe, for the commendable investment and his commitment to the development of the state.

He described the establishment of the facility as heartwarming, noting that private investments of this nature complement the efforts of government in providing critical infrastructure and essential services to the people.

 

The Deputy Governor stressed that government cannot do everything alone, emphasizing that sustainable development requires a strong and productive partnership between government and the private sector.

 

He therefore called on more private investors to identify the opportunities available in Anambra State and come forward to invest, assuring that such investments would contribute not only to improved service delivery but also to job creation, economic growth and the overall development of the state.

 

According to him, the vision of the Soludo administration is to build an Anambra where quality healthcare, investment and opportunities are accessible to all.

 

 

The opening of the magnificent facility is expected to strengthen healthcare delivery in Awka and its environs while providing additional opportunities for employment and professional development within the state’s health sector.
