Wife of the Anambra State Governor, Dr Nonye Soludo has advised Nigerians to adopt healthy habits and take deliberate steps to protect their hearts.
She also charged them to make routine health checks a priority, describing them as vital to healthy living.
Soludo who gave the advice in a message to mark the year’s World Heart Day enjoined Nigerians to make conscious choices capable of promoting heart health, including eating better, staying active, managing stress and getting enough rest.
She said, “As we mark World Heart Day today, let’s remember that a healthy heart begins with the little things we do consistently.
“They include eating better, staying active, managing stress, getting enough rest, and going for routine health checks.
“Take care of your heart today, because a healthier heart means a healthier life.”
