The Government of Anambra State has arraigned a woman, Anulika Nwokike Onyeanusi, who was arrested in Onitsha, for sexually abusing her daughters with sex toys to make adult content. Leading the Directorate of Public Prosecution, and joined by lawyers in the Sexual and Gender Based Unit of the Ministry of Justice, the Attorney General of Anambra State, Tobechukwu Nweke, SAN, on Tuesday arraigned Anulika on a 14-count charge bordering on sexual abuse and child pornography.
However, she was later remanded in a correctional facility by the presiding Judge, Justice Peace Otti of the Children, Sexual, and Gender Based Violence Court at the Anambra State High Court. During her arraignment, she pleaded not guilty to the charges brought against her by the Government of Anambra State, and her trial was adjourned to November 27, 2026.
About a month ago, 35–years-old Anulika took the social media by surprise when her adult contents with her daughters were exposed on the social media. At first, she claimed the content was AI-generated. However, a video of her forcefully violating her daughters using sex toys, while they pleaded with her, quickly went viral, causing outrage and calls for her arrest and prosecution. Responding, the Government of Anambra State moved into action, once again demonstrating its zero tolerance for child abuse, as well as sexual and gender based violence.
According to records, the defendant has been sexually abusing her two daughters aged 9 and 7 years old, using them for adult content for financial gain.
