The People’s Democratic Party has appointed former governorship aspirant, Chief Ugochukwu Okeke(Enyioha), as a member of its Board of Trustees.
Speaking exclusively to Anambra People following his appointment, Chief Ugochukwu Okeke thanked the party leadership for considering him worthy of the appointment and commended the party strategy of incorporating youth in critical areas of responsibility and leadership positions,noting that this will in many ways reinforce the appeal the Peoples Democratic Party has always had amongst the Nigerian youth.
While noting that young people have made astoundingly positive impact in all aspects of Nigerian society, including banking, commerce, telecommunications, science and technology, Media, Chief Okeke expressed his delight at the honour and privilege of working amongst illustrious PDP stalwarts of Anambra extraction, in the likes of Senator (Chief) Ben Obi (Ojelụ Igbo), Iyom Josephine Anenih, Chief Maxwell Okudo, and Lady Chinelo Chidebelu, who have for years displayed unalloyed commitment to the ideology of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
In a related development, the 100 Achievers group has congratulated Chief Ugochukwu Okeke (Enyioha) on his appointment into the PDP Board of Trustees. The group described him as a consistent and reliable politician who has become a role model of character and politics without bitterness.
They praised Chief Okeke for his steadfastness and noted that the appointment was long overdue.
The group urged Chief Ugochukwu Okeke, as one of the youngest members of the Board of Trustees, to bring fresh ideas that will make the party more appealing to Nigerians, especially during these challenging times in our nationhood.
