Before the untimely passing of Nigerian actor Obumneme Odonwodo, popularly known as Junior Pope, he had constructed a lavish mansion worth millions of naira.
The late actor shared pictures of the completed mansion on Instagram in December 2023.
Junior Pope shared his journey, revealing that when he first arrived in Asaba, he stayed in a hotel and worked from there before eventually renting a one-room apartment. With time, he and his wife upgraded to a three-bedroom apartment. However, they were thrilled to become the proud owners of a brand new mansion. The video showcased the process of constructing the mansion, from laying the foundation to having it blessed by a pastor.
Tragically, Odonwodo, along with three other crew members, drowned in the River Niger while en route to a movie set.
