Dr. Ernest Azudialu-Obiejesi is the founder of the Obijackson group, which includes subsidiaries such as Nestoil, Smile Communications, Nestav, Neconde, etc.
He (Obijackson) is undeniably one of the wealthiest individuals in Anambra State. However, he is not only known for his wealth but also for his philanthropic efforts in his community, Okija. These endeavors have earned him significant praise. Just last December, he organized an unprecedented empowerment event where he generously provided assistance to his fellow community members, a feat that has never before been witnessed in Anambra.
Obijackson has taken it upon himself to transform Okija into a tourism paradise, among other objectives.
His philanthropy has reflected in these areas
Education: He has singlehandedly constructed the Gonzola Jesuit primary and secondary schools, which are state-of-the-art educational institutions. A university is also in the offing which will make it an educational hub. This is not just about setting up schools but setting up institutions that will compete anywhere in the world.
Medical tourism: Obijackson is an excellent man. His first class mindset reflects on all his projects. He has invested heavily in healthcare in his community by his major medical outreaches and mainly the construction and commissioning of the 100 bed ultra-modern Obijackson Children and Women Hospital, the first of its kind in Nigeria.
Sports: Obijackson has constructed a world-class Acropolis golf course, which was completed and commissioned. Recently, it hosted national and international golfers on the 5th and 6th of April, 2024. He has also managed to construct the Acropolis residence, a kind of holiday resort being managed by foreigners, making it the first of its kind in the South-East. The resort will also host the Acropolis 5-Star hotel in Okija. His plan is to attract major national and international events to Furthermore, he is to his community like, energy summits , julius Berger conferences etc. He is equally building the largest event center in Africa, equipped with a Julius Berger factory-installed central air conditioning system and a giant TV screen.
Moreover, Obijackson is involved in various road construction projects, as well as the development of staff quarters and a stadium, among other initiatives.
