Newly elected President General (PG) of Umuokpu village in Awka South Local Government Area, Barr. Chukwudi Edwin Okeke, has reaffirmed his community’s unwavering support for the re-election of Governor Chukwuma Soludo.
Okeke made the pledge during a courtesy visit to the Managing Director/CEO of Awka Capital Territory Development Authority (ACTDA), Mr. Ossy Onuko, on Wednesday at his office in Awka.
Accompanied by members of his exco, Barr. Okeke commended Governor Soludo for his transformative achievements in Anambra State, particularly in the state capital.
He assured Onuko that the people of Umuokpu were committed to ensuring that 90% of their votes go to the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) in the forthcoming election.
“We are here to reaffirm our commitment to Governor Soludo’s re-election. His exceptional leadership and dedication to progress have won the trust of the people of Umuokpu. We stand ready to mobilize massive support for him,” Barr. Okeke declared.
Responding, Onuko expressed gratitude for the delegation support and commended the dedication of Umuokpu community.
He assured them of government continued support, emphasizing that their steadfastness to the APGA cause would be well recognized.
The meeting underscored the solid grassroot backing for Governor Soludo’s second-term bid and highlighted Umuokpu community determination to support the continuity of his administration reforms and developmental strides.
