Governor Chukwuma Soludo of Anambra state has charged the South East Development Commission (SEDC) to focus on key projects, particularly the regional railway connecting the five South East states, citing its significant economic benefits.

Soludo gave the charge at the 4th meeting of the Anambra State Executive Council (ANSEC) held in the Council Chamber while bidding farewell to Mr. Mark Okoye II, former Managing Director of the Anambra State Investment Promotion and Protection Agency (ANSIPPA), now pioneer MD/CEO of SEDC.

He assured Okoye of government support.

In a statement by Commissioner for Information, Law Mefor, ANSEC supported NAFDAC’s initiative to purge markets of counterfeit and expired drugs, applauding Governor Soludo’s visit to the closed Drug Market in Onitsha. The Council urged NAFDAC to expedite inspection and verification, promising support.
