A pressure group, Ikemba Front, has indicated interest to erect a cenotaph as a memorial in remembrance of Senator Ifeanyi Ubah who represented Anambra South Senatorial District until his demise.

The group’s National Coordinator, Hon Arinzechukwu Awogu who made the call during an expanded meeting of the Ward, LGA, Zonal and State Executive Council of the group at its Headquarters in Awka, weekend said the cenotaph would serve as a memorial for the group’s principal who died serving humanity and touching lives.

“Ikemba Front will build a befitting cenotaph in honour of Distinguished Sen Ubah with the assistance of Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu as a governor of Anambra State,” he added.

He noted that the group had seen a semblance of Senator Ubah in former Senator Nicholas Ukachukwu, stressing that it was for that reason the group threw their weight behind him.

He assured that the APC’s flag bearer, Prince Ukachukwu, has the political will and capacity to succeed in checkmating insecurity where Governor Chukwuma Soludo has failed.

Awogu accused Soludo of allegedly staying aloof while criminal elements took over seven local government areas of the state and destroyed lives and property of the citizenry.

He assured that Ukachukwu had developed blueprint that would positively impact on the security apparatchi of the state in less than three months of his administration, if elected.

Awogu said, “Soludo has failed to provide security for seven local government areas in Anambra State.

“Many prominent personalities, men, women and youths have been lost to insecurity. “Ikukuoma has developed a blueprint that will change the narrative in less than three months of his administration.

“We will vote for APC for genuine change, we will vote for APC because of the intimidating personality and record of Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu who would give the state a responsible and responsive governance.”

He recounted how certain impostors who attempted to hijack and dislocate the group at a time failed, expressing joy that some persons who got deceived have started returning to fold of the group.
