The presiding Bishop of Rhema Deliverance Mission, Abuja, Bishop Chidozie Nwachukwu, marked his birthday on Sunday, November 30th, 2025, with an extraordinary gesture that left his congregation overwhelmed with gratitude.

During a specially held thanksgiving service, the Bishop announced and distributed land documents to more than 53 church members, including pastors, dedicated workers, and long-standing members who, according to him, had remained faithful yet lacked personal land or housing in Abuja.

Addressing the congregation, Bishop Nwachukwu explained that the initiative was divinely inspired and rooted in a long-standing vision to uplift committed members of the church who face economic or housing challenges.

According to him, God’s abundant blessings upon his life created an obligation to extend such favour to his congregation. He revealed his ongoing plan to establish a modern residential estate in Abuja in honour of his late father and founder of Rhema Church, Bishop Arthur Nwachukwu, and noted that church members would be the first to receive plots and build their homes before the estate opens for public acquisition.

Bishop Nwachukwu further announced that this land distribution is not a one-time gesture but the beginning of a yearly empowerment initiative aimed at lifting vulnerable members out of poverty and helping them gain stability.

He stressed that the initiative aligns with the biblical responsibility of the church to support its members not only spiritually but materially, enabling them to live dignified and self-sufficient lives as they serve God.

Flanked by several Pentecostal bishops who joined him in prayers, Bishop Nwachukwu personally handed the land documents to beneficiaries, many of whom were visibly emotional and grateful for the life-changing opportunity.

In his closing remarks, the Bishop reaffirmed that the church must remain a pillar of hope, support, and empowerment, especially in difficult economic times. He expressed optimism that the beneficiaries would not only build homes for their families but also grow into pillars of strength within the church and society.
