The remains of Mrs. Ifeyinwa Iwuchukwu (Nee Ofoche), mother of renowned social media influencer, Chukwudi Iwuchukwu, will be laid to rest on January 7, 2026, at her country home in Amawa village, Ogbunike, Anambra State.

According to a release by the family, a night of tribute will be held at the deceased’s compound in Amawa village on Tuesday January 6, 2026, by 7 pm, followed by the burial ceremony on January 7, and a Thanksgiving outing at Holy Trinity Anglican Church,Amawa Ogbunike on January 11, 2026.

Mrs. Ifeyinwa Iwuchukwu, a retired school teacher and community leader, was born on May 27, 1962, into the family of Christopher, Ikegbunam Ofoche. She distinguished herself as responsible, nurturing, and compassionate from an early age, qualities that defined her throughout her life.

 

She began her formal education at Eke Olisa Primary School, Ogbunike, and later enrolled at a Teachers’ Training College in Anambra State. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Education from Enugu State University, solidifying her commitment to teaching.

Mrs. Iwuchukwu devoted her working life to public service, impacting countless pupils across various communities. She taught at several schools, including Ugbolimili Primary School, Nupe Primary School, Awada Primary School, and Oba Ofemili Primary School, before retiring as a Director at Woliwo Primary School 1 in 2023.

 

Beyond her professional achievements, Mrs. Iwuchukwu was a pillar of her family, assuming the role of matriarch after her mother’s death in 1995. She was known for her kindness, patience, and sense of responsibility, earning her deep respect and love within the family.

 

Expected dignitaries at the burial include former Governor of Anambra State, Mr. Peter Obi; Chairman, UBA Group, Tony Elumelu;founder Peace Mass Transit, Dr. Sam Onyishi; Former First Lady of Ondo State, Chief Mrs. Betty Akeredolu; Industrialist , Don Ebubeogu amongst other dignitaries.

 

The late Mrs Iwuchukwu is survived by husband , Children and grandchildren amongst whom is Mr Chukwudi Iwuchukwu, a fearless and respected social media influencer and founder, Visage Media( A fast rising PR firm)
