Popular entrepreneur and businessman, Blord (real name Linus Williams Ifejika), has announced a major milestone in his business journey after successfully obtaining a Microfinance Bank (MFB) licence from the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).
The development marks Blord Group’s official entry into the formal fintech and inclusive banking space, a significant shift from the company’s earlier digital and crypto-focused operations.
Reacting to the achievement, Blord described the moment as the beginning of a larger vision, stating, “My Elumelu journey has just begun,”
With the new licence, Blord Group is now positioned to offer regulated financial services targeted at financial inclusion, small businesses, and underserved communities.
