It was a heavy turn up of high profile individuals as Anayochukwu Victor Nwankwo and his lovely bride, Onyechi Chioma Veronica were joined in holy matrimony at a colourful ceremony in Awka Anambra state recently.
Among those who honoured the couple with their highly dignified presence include, US-based medical doctor, Chief Godwin Maduka, International election observer, Hon. Jim Okolo, CEO Moorex Property, Engr. Chidi Charles Amechi, a Paramount ruler Igwe Eziagu, HRH, Bernard Emejio (Igwe Ebube Agu 1 Of Orumba) Nollywood actress Rita Edochie, SA Media to Anambra State Governor, Obinna Orumba, Chief M.O Amah ( Aka Ji Ofu Na Mba, Umuo Ne Bute Aku 1 Na Eziogu), Amb Francis Chukwuyekwe, CEO Ekwencity Global Resources LTD and notable others.
The star-studded ceremony started with an exchange of marital at S.S John and Paul Catholic Church, Umubella, Awka Anambra State capital.
This was followed by reception and traditional marriage at Agulu Awka Community Secondary School Awka in the presence of family and friends who came from far and wide.
The couple, both of whom are from Anambra State did not hide their excitement on their special day as they took to the dance floor to show their dancing skills.
It witnessed side attractions, including the popular ogene music, traditional dance and special appearance by Gorilla Image.
Notable traditional rulers and leaders of youth organizations were also present to add colour to the event.
Guests had a great time as they were treated to the traditional cuisines of the people of Anambra.
In his remarks, Dr. Maduka while wishing the couple well in their marital journey recalled his long-standing relationship with the groom’s younger brother, Alex Nwankwo better known as AlexReport, urging him to uphold the good morals the family is known for.
Notable media organizations were also present to give the colourful event a significant publicity millage.
