The Chief Executive Officer of Flutterwave, Olugbenga Agboola, and Chairman Stanel Group , Dr Stanley Uzochukwu have met with the Anambra Tech Community in Awka.
At the event Agboola announced intention for the state to serve as the hub of Flutterwave for the entire South East, with direct impact on entrepreneurs, small businesses and large firms.
Speaking at the event, Mr. Agboola, who described Flutterwave as indigenous and “biggest payment system out of Africa,” and which presently “powers so many companies everywhere across Nigeria,” noted that its planned “Impact Program” will help entrepreneurs and young tech enthusiasts in the state create global platforms even while residing in Anambra, all aimed at creating more millionaires.
He urged young startups to start small and start now, saying that there is infrastructure, reach, human capacity and other resources for skills development in Anambra and Nigeria in general.
Earlier in his remark, the host and Chairman/CEO of the Stanel Group, Dr. Stanley Uzochukwu, who gave testimonies of what Flutterwave does, noted that the guest, Mr. Agboola, has been impacting the lives of young people.
Co-founder of Anambra Techies, Mr. Zikora Chukwuka, said members are ready to embrace all available opportunities and partner with Flutterwave for a greater future.
The event featured an interactive session focused on creating value, collaborating towards a common goal and enhancing social media visibility.
