A respected Abuja-based businessman, Mr Lucky Chinedu Adimike has been reportedly murdered by yet-to be identified persons.
According to a source, the philanthropist from Awka-Etiti, Anambra State, was killed in his Abuja residence in the early hours of Friday, May 15, 2026.
The family confirmed the news in a statement released through Faithspiration Initiative, the organization founded by his younger brother, Rev. Fr. George Adimike.
According to the statement, Mr. Adimike died following a brutal incident at his home.
Mr Adimike, popularly known as Egonaejeije Awka-Etiti, was recognized for his generosity and quiet support of charitable and youth-centered causes.
In January 2026, he empowered over 45 people in his community with ₦1 million each to support their businesses and livelihoods.
Faithspiration described him as “a pillar of support to our Founder and a quiet force behind many of the charitable, evangelical, and youth-centered works of Faithspiration through his generosity, goodwill, and immense support.”
The FCT Police Command has begun investigations to identify and apprehend those responsible.
Details surrounding the incident remain limited as of press time.
The family and Faithspiration have called on well-wishers to pray for the repose of his soul and for strength for Rev. Fr. George Adimike, the Adimike family, and all those grieving the loss.
