Apams Funeral Ltd will today unveil its Port Harcourt Regional office, as its 19th branch.
In a statement by the company’s media office, the new facility will serve as the company’s second regional headquarters and oversee operations across the South-South zone, covering Rivers, Delta, Bayelsa, Edo, Akwa Ibom and Cross River states.
The Chairman of Apams Funeral Ltd, Dr Kevin Chukwumobi, is expected to formally open the office.
The company said it started operations in 1992 in Onitsha, Anambra State, with one branch.
It has since expanded its operations to almost all states in the South-East and South-South, as well as Abuja and Lagos.
The company opened its head office in Onitsha in October 2022, followed by its Umuahia regional head office in 2023 and Uyo Casket Plaza in 2024.
The company said opening new branches had become a tradition to mark Chukwumobi’s birthday.
Speaking ahead of the unveiling, Chukwumobi said, “We want more people to access our excellent services everywhere in Nigeria and that is why we are bringing our casket plazas to every major city in Nigeria.”
The regional office is located at Km 3 East West Road, near Nkpolu Bus stop, beside Conoil petrol Station, Rumuigbo, PortHarcourt, River State.
