Osisioma Foundation has played host to Anambra State Executives of Labour Party and pledged its support to the party and it presidential candidate in the forthcoming 2023 general election, ANAMBRA PEOPLE reports.
The founder of the Foundation Dr Chike Obidigbo,an industrialist, who is the Chairman of Hardis and Dromedas ltd called on Ndigbo to close- ranks and work for the victory of Mr Peter Obi in the coming presidential election.
He maintained that Peter Obi’s Movement is a divinely ordained one ,adding that the mandate has even transcended Mr Peter Obi himself.
Dr Chike Obidigbo a former Governorship Aspirant explained how he has been meeting with some Igbo stakeholders to see how they could come together and help in actualising this dream for an Igbo president noting that this is the closest an Igbo has come to the position.
Speaking further, he enjoined Ndigbo to commit more to the project and opined that with the kind of across-the -board support which Obi enjoys, the labour party candidate is on the way of making history in the country and urged those who might have had one grouse or the other against Mr Peter Obi to forgive and join the movement, adding that Peter Obi’s victory is a bigger call and cause for ndigbo than any personal grouse and warned that anybody or group who try to become an impediment to the cause will fail .
All the speakers at the meeting drawn from officials of labour party, Osisioma Foundation and friends of Dr Chike Obidigbo concurred with him that this time present the best opportunity for Ndigbo to shoot at the presidency and urged Nigerians to reason and work with Ndigbo in seeing that Peter obi becomes the president of Nigeria for effective leadership.
Similarly, officials of labour party present commended Dr Chike Obidigbo for identifying with the party and pledged to see how they could work together in pushing the mandate
