UNKNOWN GUNMEN INVADE NKWO IGBOUKWU, KILLS OVER 20 COWS

Gunmen attacked a livestock market in Igboukwu, Aguata Local Government Area, Anambra State, on Thursday evening, slaughtering cows and goats.

According to ANAMBRA PEOPLE, the gunmen traveled to Igboukwu after burning down houses and cars in Ekwulobia, the local government headquarters of Aguata.

The incidence was corroborated by an eyewitness who was in the neighborhood.

“The unknown gunmen, after destroying Aguata local government Secretariat, went through Ekwulobia and headed straight to Igboukwu”.

“Stopping close to Igboukwu market, there’s a cattle ranch selling over 30 cows by your right hand, those animals belong to an Igbo guy.”

“These guys entered there, and killed all the cows belonging to an Igbo man.”

A video trending on social media also showed slain cows littering the cattle market, with traders bemoaning their losses.
