Ex-governor Obiano’s wife, Chief Mrs. Ebele Obiano has been accused of playing a role in setting ablaze Anambra Revenue House, Awka, ANAMBRA PEOPLE reports.
According to AIF MEDIA, a voice note was released by one Nnadi Ikeli, the National Youth President of Aguleri revealing how the Anambra Revenue House, that’s the IGR House at Awka was set ablaze.
He revealed how Osodieme, the then First Lady directed him to go and set the Revenue House on fire after which the former Chairman of the board of the IGR, Chief Nzekwu declared that about 55 billion naira was burnt by the fire incident.
He stated that the immediate past IGR chairman told him that the ex-governor’s wife instructed he should guard them to move away some cash from the revenue house and the next day, the revenue house was set on fire, and the IGR chairman declared that about 55 billion naira was burnt during the fire incident.
This type of self-confession must be followed up by relevant authorities and get culprits arrested. The 55 billion naira ego Anambra must be recovered.
This is time we shall know if Prof Soludo is truly sincere to bring about good governance and justice to our people.
