Massive resignation has hit the People’s Democratic Party in Anambra state following the withdrawal from the party primaries of some senatorial and house of representative aspirants, ANAMBRA PEOPLE reports.

ANAMBRA PEOPLE gathered that Dr. Tony Nwoye, who is aspiring to represent Anambra North in the senate under PDP has withdrawn from the party primaries. Some aspirants who are contesting for house of representative seats also tendered their resignation. Most of them include Hon. Barr. Val Ayika, Hon. George Ibezimako Ozodinobi (Aja Ajanze), Hon. Emeka Idu and Dr. Obiora Chira. This may not be unconnected with Peter Obi’s earlier withdrawal from the party’s presidential primaries and the allegedly hijacking of the result sheets for the congress expected to take place in the wards.

Below is the letter of their resignation.
