A man identified as Kelechi has committed suicide in Ogbunka community, Orumba South LGA of Anambra state.
ANAMBRA PEOPLE gathered that on the night of the tragic incident, Kelechi was dinning with his newly wedded wife when he received a call from some perceived friends, he excused his wife and left but unfortunately he never came back. Following the alarm raised by his wife about her missing husband, a search was conducted and he was found hanging on a popular cashew tree within the community.
However strong evidence showed that his leg was firmly on the ground rather than dangling in the air, which is suggestive of a foul play.
This shows a strong evidence of homicide leading to the conclusion that he might have been strangled and killed somewhere else but was hanged on the tree as a cover up.
Whatever it is, the police needs to uncover the truth behind the gory story.
