Whoever knows Reverend Father Philip Okoye will describe him as one of the best yam farmers there is.
But his expertise in agriculture has gone beyond yam farming.
Apart from cultivating yams of biggest sizes and quantity, Father Philip has now introduced ‘paw paw Akpo’ during this year’s yam exhibition tagged ‘come see yams 2022″ at his new parish, Holy Family Catholic Church Akpo, in Aguata council area.
Father Philip has trained altar boys in Obeledu, Nanka and now Akpo, all cutting across three communities in three different local government areas.
The sweetest part is that he gives all the harvest out to charity.
