Late DIG Egbunike, 26 others Among Anambra Nominees for National Honors

The late deputy inspector general of police, DIG Joseph Egbunike will be among the 26 other nominees from Anambra state that will be decorated with National Honours Awards 2022, ANAMBRA PEOPLE reports.

The Awards will be presented by President Muhammadu Buhari on October 11, 2022 at the State House Abuja. Anambra State has a total of 27 out of the 437 nominees of which late DIG Joseph Egbunike is the only nominee from the state that will be honored posthumously.

According to the list obtained by ANAMBRA PEOPLE, majority of the Nominees were drawn from the private sector while the remaining few came from the academia. From the list, the state has a total number of 6 CON, 5 OFR, 6 OON, 5 MFR and 5 MON nominees.
