Former All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) national chairman, Senator Victor Umeh has accused current Governor of Anambra State, Chukwuma Soludo of blocking his senatorial ambition on the platform of APGA, ANAMBRA PEOPLE reports.
Recall that Umeh was one of the candidates eyeing the senatorial ticket for Anambra central zone on the APGA platform. But after he was denied the senatorial ticket of the party, he moved to the Labour Party where he clinched the ticket for that senatorial district.
Speaking on why he was denied the senatorial ticket of APGA in an interview, Senator Victor Umeh said, “when the present Governor blocked me from becoming the APGA candidate for Anambra central senatorial district on the concealed ground that we disqualified him in 2013 to contest the governorship through APGA, he retained it and when we did everything we did for him to win, he went back again to 2013 and stood against me.”
