Lead Pastor of Life of Faith Gospel Assembly (City of Transformation), Pastor Sam Obiora has received an honorary doctorate degree award from Highstone Global University, Houston Texas, USA. According to the School, Pastor Sam was deemed worthy of the Doctor of Ministry for being a transformational leader and ardent advocate for Youth.
On another development, Pastor Sam Obiora will be among the outstanding people in Anambra state to be honored at the upcoming ANAMBRA MAN OF THE YEAR AWARD slated for 1st July, 2023, at the Stanel Dome, Awka.
The award organizers said “Pastor Sam Obiorah is an extraordinary individual who has made significant contributions as a social impact investor. His unwavering dedication and commitment to creating positive change have left an indelible mark on society.
“He actively seeks out and invest in initiatives that align with his values of hardwork, integrity, societal progress that also have the potential to make a significant difference in the world.
“He understands the importance of human capital development and has leveraged his resources in supporting positive causes that have impact on the society. His humanitarian and philanthropic deeds are phenomenal. He has continued to support the weak, weary, widows, less privileged children and serious minded and visionary youths. Many pupils, students and undergraduates are beneficiaries of his scholarship scheme. He equally offers yearly grant to young entrepreneurs and stands as a great pillar of support to the young men and women of his community and beyond”.
In 2022, Pastor Sam Obiorah gifted cars to some of his Pastors and gave scholarship to some of his indigent members. According to one of his members, Pastor Joshua Okumefuna, “the gift of cars and scholarships has become a reoccurring decimal. He also gives free accommodation to some of his members”.
Congratulating him, a youth pastor in Life of Faith Gospel Assembly and Founding President, Ultimate Destiny Uplifters Foundation, (UDUF AFRICA)Dr. Smart Chinedu Ezuma stated that the social impact investor award on Pastor Sam is well deserved and commended the organizers for spotting him out for the award.
Apart from being a pastor, Sam Obiorah sits on the board of so many companies including Emos Best Industries LTD, a giant name in cosmetics manufacturing in West Africa. He is the CEO of C.O.T Records, a leading gospel label in the South East. He is equally the CEO of Samorah Global Enterprise, a brand name in auto sales and real estate development.
