“Don’t Sit-At-Home on Election Day”, REC Begs Anambra Residents.

Inaugurating the State Working Committee, the National Vice Chairman, South East Zone of Accord Party, Chief Chigbo, said Anambra State Accord Party has operated in a vacuum as a result of gross misconduct of their former leaders, both at the national and state level, who abused, neglected Accord Party constitution and that of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

He used the opportunity to advise the general public to be wise and not to fall victim of political fraudsters with their fraudulent claims and activities, more especially in Anambra State.

Chief Chigbo noted that Accord Party in Anambra State has only one Chairman, which is Honourable Ukpomeze, who he said shall henceforth pilot the affairs of the Party alongside his State Working Committee members, and challenged them to live up to expectations and ensure that they protect the image of the party, as well embark on grassroot mobilization.

The National Organizing Secretary of the party, Ambassador David Joel, asked the newly inaugurated State Working Committee to be wise while electing who will be the flagbearer of the party in the next election in Anambra.

He advised the new executives not to work against the interest of the party, but to ensure that they carry everyone along so as to expand their coast.

In his acceptance speech, the new State Chairman of Accord Party, Honourable Ukpomeze, stated that the party will be made a household name in Anambra State because it is not polluted as many others, charging all their members to go back to their local governments to mobilize and spread the good news of the party.

Inauguration proper and hand over of party documents climaxed the event.
