Anambra Transport Magnate, GUO, Wife to Share N30 Million On Their Birthdays

Anambra transport Magnate, Chief Dr. (Sir) Godwin Ubaka Okeke (GUO) and Lady Patricia Okeke, through their foundation, Godwin and Patricia Okeke Foundation, will be donating a total sum of N30 million to 1,000 beneficiaries. The beneficiaries, comprising widows, orphans, blind students, and deaf and dumb students, will each receive N30,000.

This charity activities coincides with the couple’s milestone birthdays – Lady Patricia Okeke’s 70th and Chief GUO’s 75th. The foundation has extended invitations to various churches, including St. Monica Anglican ChurchWoliwo, St. Jude Catholic Church, Fegge, Onitsha, and all churches in Adazi Ani, including pentecostal churches.

Notably, over 400 widows from Anambra Central will benefit from this disbursement.

In addition to the cash donations, the foundation will also be commissioning two projects built for the Deaf and Dumb Central School, Odakpu, Onitsha, Anambra State. The projects include a two-story hostel building and a one-story classroom block.

The couple emphasized the importance of supporting the less privileged in our society.
