Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) in Anambra State has pledged its continued support to Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) in its efforts to combat irregular migration, human trafficking and other transnational crimes.

State Commandant of NSCDC, Comdt. Maku Olatunde made the pledge while receiving newly posted State Comptroller of NIS, Mr. GN Nzeribe, at the NSCDC Command Headquarters.

He emphasized the importance of inter-agency collaboration, highlighting NSCDC’s achievements in protecting critical national assets, combating quackery in the private security industry, and fighting petroleum products adulteration and black market racketeering in Anambra State.

“The need for us to collaborate cannot be overemphasized, we are ready and willing to continue the existing relationship and share intelligence in achieving our individual mandates” he said.
