Commissioner for Education in Anambra State, Prof Ngozi Chuma-Udeh has restated Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s determination to ensure education was taken to the door steps of all nooks and crannies of the State.
Chuma-Udeh stated this during a visit to Igbedor, one of the island communities of Olumbanasaa in Anambra West Local Government Area of the State.
The Commissioner was on assessment visit of the level of work done at the projects embarked upon by the Governor.
Speaking to the community members gathered at the palace of His Royal Majesty, Igwe Pius Omachonu, Chuma-Udeh said, “today’s visit is in line with Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s determination to ensure that education is taken to the door steps of all nooks and crannies of the State.”
Responding, Igwe Pius Omachonu appreciated Soludo for being the first Governor to set his foot on the land of Igbedor.
Speaking through Chief Lawrence Nnacho, the monarch said the governor initiated number of projects thereby giving a sense of belonging to the Igala speaking community in the State.
