National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in Anambra State has assured Prospective Corps Members deployed to the State for the 2024 Batch B Stream I Orientation Course Programme of adequate arrangements for their welfare and security.
State Coordinator, Blessing Ekene Iruma gave the assurance while flagging off a brief reception ceremony at the Multi purpose Hall, Nnamdi Azikiwe NYSC Unity Permanent Orientation Camp, Umuawulu/Mbaukwu Awka South LGA of the State.
Iruma who personally welcomed the corps members and providing them with some refreshment amdist music to them, urged them to feel free to participate actively in camp activities.
“It is the tradition of the management of the camp to warmly receive you so you will easily adapt and unwind after a stressful journey.
“NYSC is one united family. Federal government have made arrangements for their welfare and security. Feel free to participate actively in camp activities,” she said.
The visibly elated PCMs received their soft drinks, biscuits and bottle water for their relax after a stressful journey.
